Sandra Fong

Sandra Fong was a Director in the Global Private Banking & Trust (“GPB&T”) division of CIBC. In her advisory role at GPB&T, Sandra provides consultation to High Net Worth clients, executives in private and public listed companies relating to wealth preservation, tax planning and estate planning, as well as offshore solutions and international business planning. Prior to joining CIBC in 1996, Sandra was an associate at Smith Lyons Torrance Stevenson & Mayer, a full service Bay Street law firm.

Sandra is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto (1990) and L.L.B. from Queen's University Law School (1993). To enhance her law program, Sandra elected to spend 1992-93 abroad by gaining acceptance into the law program at the University of Sydney, N.S.W., Australia.

From 1997 to 2004, Sandra was the Director & Corporate Secretary for S'port for Kids Foundation. Also between 1996 to 2002, Sandra was a member of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary for the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. An avid traveller, her adventures range from trekking in Nepal to scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, other interests revolve around her husband and their 2 year old son as he too begins exploring the world.
