Members of the media teamed up and rasied funds for youth in the second annual S'port for Kids Invitational, at Spectrum Community School. Students and teachers from Spectrum Community School in Victoria beat the Media Team by a score of 1-0. As the score indicates, it was a very close game. The New VI's sports anchor Jason Pires played a stellar game in net for the Media team. At the other end, Guy Chester picked up the shutout for Spectrum.

Last year the Media Team lost to Victoria High by a score of 7-3.
