It may help you to think
of image processing this way. If data processing refers to the manipulation
of raw data to solve some problem, enlighten the user and/or make using
the data easier in a way not possible without the manipulation, then image
processing does the same thing with images. Digitized images that have been acquired (scanned or captured by digital cameras) can now be manipulated. The purpose may simply be to improve the image, change its size, its color, or merely to re-create it in electronic form. Keeping your information in electronic form while maintaining its accessibility is what the A&L Document Console is all about. |
